The Way of Life that Supports Wellbeing and Good Health is called a healthy lifestyle.
A healthy lifestyle can avoid chronic conditions and enhance general well-being. However, many people may find it difficult to maintain a healthy lifestyle owing to a number of reasons, including limited access to wholesome foods, insufficient time for exercise, and stress from work or other obligations.
In order to be able to live a healthy lifestyle, it is important to have a solid understanding of what constitutes a 'healthy' diet (i.e., one that contains whole grains, fruits, vegetables and lean proteins).
This entails eating foods rich in vitamins and minerals such as fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds; lean meats; whole grains such as brown rice or quinoa; low-fat dairy products like yogurt or cheese; fish; poultry; eggs; beans; peas and lentils.
Also important are regular physical activity (at least 30 minutes most days), stress management techniques like yoga or meditation.
